But Blackface seemed to have believed the singer was referring to him with the song. He took umbrage, believing the song was directed at him and immediately attacked the star by taking to his Instagram page at Blackfacenaija to pen down a post. The post read:

“Can the devil ever come back to say he is sorry for trying to make you stop doing Jah’s Work? Will you forgive it? Me no go even wait to listen….”

Not done, his reply to a fan’s comment on the post clearly shows his post was directed to 2baba.

The fan, obiepf wrote: “Shay you see as them they write sweet song ?, Well compose without even calling names but the message deliver well, Thats an award winning material, Frenemies ???”

Obviously angered by the comment, Blackface replied: “that ogogoro music ??????

This is the not the first time Blackface will be attacking the singer.

Recall that the Hard Life singer had severally accused 2baba of copyright theft, allegations of blocking his music, which landed the duo several lawsuits filed by both parties.

Blackface was also reported to have said he will end the African Queen Crooner’s musical career this year.

The feud between the ex-members of the Plantashun Boiz which started since the band broke up in 2003 have been one of the longest running feuds that the industry has ever witnessed.

Frenemies is a thoughtful song that talks a lot about betrayal. It is a simple but strong song with meaningful words and vital message.

2Baba also said the song came from a place in his heart that doesn’t open often.
