The Nigerian Air force gaining grounds in the fight against insurgency

he fight against insurgency in Nigeria just gained an upper hand as the Nigerian Air Force succeeded in obstructing the supply of fuel and other necessary materials aiding the Boko Haram sect.

This statement was from the Director, Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Air Force, Dele Alonge, who said the Nigerian Air Force through its aerial patrol, were able to recover more than 4,000 drums of petroleum products meant for the sect, this happened along the Nigerian-Cameroon border.


He went ahead and assured Nigerians that the Air force are doing everything in their power to cut all form of aid to the Boko Haram sect.

“Efforts are ongoing to ensure that every help available to the terrorists are truncated.”

This effort is a product of the efforts taken by both the Nigerian and Cameroonian government in strengthening her borders.

Just yesterday, President Muhammadu Buhari met with the Cameroonian President Paul Biya to dialogue on activities that should be carried out in bringing an ending solution to the hiccups experienced by both countries from the dreaded Boko Haram sect.
