The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has disclosed that there has not been any change in Nigeria’s exchange rate structure.
The apex bank announced this on its official Twitter page on Wednesday.

The announcement is in reaction to several reports that the Nigerian Naira rate will be market-determined.
But the macroeconomics indices displayed on the regulator’s website indicates that the apex bank has not made any decision to allow the market to determine exchange rate.
The financial institution had in 2017 stated that no amount of criticism and blackmail would make it change its foreign exchange rate policy.
