They Warned Me To Stop Or Lose My Life – Singer Cries Out

The Adamawa State singer was found unconscious in a bush near Lafiya-Lamurde village in Lamurde Local Government Area of the northern state, about 80 kilometers from Yola.

Recall that the musician was abducted by unknown gunmen last Friday after he released a controversial anti-graft song titled, “Gyara kayanka.” The song targets corrupt politicians in the state who don’t keep their promises
While narrating his ordeal to newsmen, the musician said he was tricked into a car on Friday morning by kidnappers.

According to him the kidnappers had drove him out of Yola city and then played his new song, and began asking him why he had recorded a track mocking politicians.

“After going round, they took me to a house, which I believed was within the metropolis,” Daukaka said.

“They did not beat me.

“I was fed with milk and biscuits by my abductors who warned me against putting my nose into other people’s business.

“They threatened me and said they would take my life and repeatedly asked why I was criticising politicians and warned me to stop or lose my life.”

After 5-days, the kidnappers blindfolded him and let him go in a forest, where he was eventually found, he said.

Daukaka is currently receiving medical examination at a nearby hospital in the state.
