Tinubu Is Opposition Parties’ Greatest Nightmare- Ondo Deputy Gov

The Ondo State Deputy governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has described the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress,
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, as the greatest nightmare of opposition parties.

According to a statement on Monday, the deputy governor said this at an APC stakeholders’ meeting held at Igbokoda, the headquarters of Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Aiyedatiwa said the achievements and exemplary leadership of the APC candidate in the 2023 presidential election, are a source of worry to the opposition parties in the ongoing electioneering.

He said the party would run an effective and impactful message-driven campaigns which will lead to victory in the forthcoming elections.

The deputy governor said the APC remained the best for the country and the state.

Aiyedatiwa expressed appreciation to the party members and Ilaje people for their support, particularly to the administration of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

He said, “We have promised to stand shoulder to shoulder with all our candidates, so to that extent, they can rest assured that we will be together in this race to ensure success of these efforts.

“For now, there’s no option to victory, we just have to work for victory as the game is on now. Our candidates are ready, they are proven, steadfast, focused towards successful outings in the 2023 general election.

“We all should hit the road to deliver to our party.”

A prominent APC chieftain, Chief Olusola Oke, appealed to members to be focused and look at the brighter future, urging the Ilaje Nation to be united in voting for all APC candidates in the coming election.

At the meeting, the party candidates for House of Representatives, Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency, Donald Ojogo, and House of Assembly, Ilaje Constituency 2, Princess Olawunmi Fayemi, were also introduced to members.

Also at the meeting, members present were unanimous in pledging their total support and resolve to deliver the local government to the APC in the forthcoming elections.
