To confirm the support of their parents, Tonto Dikeh and her spouse Oladunni Churchill held their traditional wedding at Tonto’s family house in Obiokpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
A glamorous occasion attended by a select few, showcasing wine carrying and bride price ceremonies, in accordance with the traditional wedding rites of Tonto’s community.
Tonto expressing her excitement, took to her Instagram page and said: “God has been faithful, Court wedding- Done, Introduction-Done.”
In one of her recent posts, she said;
“My best friend paid my dowry and I traditionally now belong to him. In my culture after this event you can now move in with him as a family. I’m super proud of his confidence, I’m super proud of his courage, believe me he heard a lot of trash but stood firm and believed in his God and cut off anyone who spoke ill of me. Now that’s a real man.
One reason I will forever love respect and serve him with my life.”
The couple looked stunning in their traditional attire, Tonto wore a cream off shoulder top, gold George wrapper and gold Gele (head-tie), completed with coral beads. Churchill on the other hand wore a matching cream and gold top with see through sleeves, trousers and matching cap.
