Trump To Donate $1m ‘Personal Money’ To Hurricane Harvey Victims

White House Press Secretary, Sarah Sanders, has disclosed that President Donald Trump of the United States will donate $1 million to Hurricane Harvey victims.

“He would like to join in the efforts that a lot of people we have seen across the country do,” Sanders said at a press briefing on Thursday.

While noting that the donation would come from Trump’s “personal money”, the White House Press Secretary said the U.S President has not decided where the donation will be sent.

“He actually asked that I check with the folks in this room, since you are very good at research and have been doing a lot of reporting into the groups and organizations that are best and most effective in helping and providing aid, and he’d love some suggestions from the folks here and I’d be happy to take those,” said Sanders.
