“I think you’d have riots,” Trump said on CNN.
Trump further noted that he’s “representing many millions of people,” and added; “I don’t think you can say that we don’t get it automatically.” ”If you disenfranchise those people, and you say, ‘I’m sorry, you’re 100 votes short’ … I think you’d have problems like you’ve never seen before. I think bad things would happen.”
After Tuesday’s convention in Florida, Illinois and North Carolina, Trump’s delegates numbers currently stands at 621 delegates, leaving him 616 delegates from clinching the fiercely contested Republican ticket.
Sen. Marco Rubio’s loss in his home-state of Florida, led to the suspension of his campaign, while Trump’s victory, extended his lead over Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas with Ohio Gov. John Kasich, winning his home state’s primary.
