Tunde Bakare: God Told Me I’ll Succeed Buhari In 2023
The senior pastor of Latter Rain Assembly, Tunde Bakare, has said he will become Nigeria’s next president after President Muhammadu Buhari’s second term.
A video making round on the social media showed Bakare who was a former running mate of Buhari in his pre-APC days saying he is the “number 16th president.”

In the video shared by media aide to former president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, Bakare said “nothing can change” his emergence as the next president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Bakare said, “take it to the mountain top, if you have never heard it before, I am saying it to you this morning, in the scheme of things as far as the politics of Nigeria is concerned, President Muhammadu Buhari is number 15th, and yours sincerely is number 16th.
“I’ve never said this to you before, but I’m saying it to you now nothing can change it in the name of Jesus.
“To this end was I called and to this purpose came I into the world. I’ve prepared you for this for more than 30 years. When he (Buhari) steps out, I step in.

“His assignment is that of Moses to take Nigeria to River Jordan but they can’t cross it, it will take a Joshua to go to the other side,” he said in reference to the Holy Bible.
