Twiiter Replaces It’s ‘Favourite’ Icon With a ‘Like’ Button
Online social networking platform, Twitter Inc has dropped its star-shaped ‘favourite’ icon with a heart-shaped icon called ‘like’.
The Company made this announcement via a blog post late Tuesday, and according to them, the new modification is meant to make its website more engaging.

The post reads: “You might like a lot of things, but not everything can be your favourite.

“We know that at times the star could be confusing, especially to newcomers.
“The heart, on the other hand, is a universal symbol and more expressive.”
Twitter also said the hearts will be used in its Vine app.
