Rapper Cardi B’s win at the 2019 Grammy award for Best Rap Album is generating social media reactions as her fellow artist Nicki Minaj who have been in the entertainment industry for years is yet to win a Grammy.
According to twitter reactions, the rapper who has spent just two years in the entertainment industry was not worth winning the award.
Cardi B took home award for Best Rap Album for her album “Invasion of Privacy”, making her the first solo female artist to win in the category.
Prior to Cardi B’s win, the only other woman to have won the award was in 1997, when the hip-hop group Fugees, which included Lauryn Hill, won Best Rap Album for “The Score.”

So much disrespect being thrown at Nicki Minaj. Y’all shouldn’t forget Nicki was making waves in a time when men and hardcore rap acts dominated the rap game.
