Two Men Gang-Rape Teenage Neighbour, Threaten To Expose Her Nude Video

Two suspects identified as Damilare Oyeniyi and Emmanuel Okori, have been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly gang-raping a 19-year-old teenager.

The suspects and the rape victim were said to be living in the same house and the two of them reportedly dragged the teenager to one of the suspects room on the day of the incident.

They were said to have stripped her naked and took turns to rape her after which they filmed her naked.

The suspects were said to have threatened to release the video but the victim reported them to the police.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, in a statement on Sunday said the suspects were arrested following a report lodged at the Sango Police Station by the victim.

She was said to have told the police that the suspects who are living in the same compound with her dragged her into the room of one of them, stripped her naked, video her nude before taking turns to rape her serially.

He said the Divisional Police Officer, Sango Division, Godwin Idehai, detailed detectives to go after the suspects, who had allegedly fled and they were arrested on December 16.

The PPRO added that during interrogation, the two suspects confessed committing the crime.

He said, “They confessed they filmed her nude with which they used to threaten her not to report or else the video will be posted on social media.”

Meanwhile, the state Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun, has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation and prosecution.
