Tyson Fury Unfit Ahead Of Saturday Bout

The WBC title bout is billed to take place at the MGM arena in Las Vegas between two undefeated boxers, the Champion Deontay Wilder and the Challenger Tyson Furry.

The Wilder camp have cheering news ahead of the bout with reports of injuries plaguing the challenger even before the bout.

The fitness saga was confirmed by Wilder’s personal trainer Jauan Sugarhill Steward who replaced his former trainer Ben Davidson.

He said its a normal thing to get knocks here and there but that he’s confident that Wilder will win the bout.

He revealed to Behind The Gloves in reply to an earlier comment by a powerful boxing show promoter Eddie Hearn that Fury is a disadvantaged position to win the bout: “whatever Eddie says is true.

“I don’t wanna argue with Eddie Hearn or anybody that’s saying that Tyson’s injured and stuff like that.

“With Tyson, he could be injured, could be or maybe not. Nobody comes into a fight 100 percent.

He retorted that it is a normal thing for athletes and non athletes to have nicks and slight injuries but that doesn’t stop them from performing to there optimum

The 31 year old 6 ft 9 inches tall Fury, who earlier made comments on weight loss also confirmed his injury but said it would not stop him from fighting: “Unfortunately I have hurt both legs and both ankles, in the training camp. “But its not going to affect me in the fight”.
