US Poll: Americans Vote Early From Space, Land

Ahead of the November 3 United States presidential election, Americans have begun casting their ballots.

Guardian UK reports that ” by early Sunday almost 60 million Americans had cast a vote in the presidential election.”

But early voting is not only taking place in US communities, those in space are also voting.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) astronaut Kate Rubins had tweeted that she cast her vote from the International Space Station.

“I think it’s really important for everybody to vote…And if we can do it from space, then I believe folks can do it from the ground, too,” she said.

Also, the President of the United States, Donald Trump also casted his vote last week.

“JUST VOTED. A great honor!,” he tweeted on Saturday.

The pattern of voting is either by mail-in ballots or in-person.
