Travellers plying the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway were left stranded as kidnappers laid siege to the busy road on Wednesday.
A trending social media video showed some travellers who pulled over while on transit to avoid running into the kidnappers.

The Abuja-Kaduna Expressway had been deemed as one of the most dangerous routes in the country as gunmen have continued to terrorise travellers plying it.
In recent times, travellers had been kidnapped and robbed by bandits, prompting the Abuja-Kaduna rail line to record higher patronage.
