VIDEO: Mamman Daura Physically Fit, Isolated On Arrival In UK

Amid reports that he was flown out of the country due to a “critical ailment”, President Muhammadu Buhari’s nephew, Mamman Daura, has been seen self-isolating at an undisclosed location in the United Kingdom.

Daura’s departure from Nigeria on Wednesday had been greeted with conflicting reports due to the sudden nature of the trip.

While some reports claimed that the president’s nephew jetted out of the country to treat a serious medical condition suspected to be COVID-19, others said the trip was for a routine check-up.

But a video made available to THE WHISTLER on Saturday suggested that Daura was physically fit, as he was seen laughing and moving around during a phone conversation at an apartment in the UK.

He was heard telling someone over the phone that he was made to self-isolate in compliance with the COVID-10 protocol of the UK Government.

Meanwhile, Daura’s trip came amid President Buhari’s ban on international travel due to the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country.

The federal government had last week announced plans to lift the ban on international travel on August 29.
