Voting Starts In Jegede’s Polling Unit In Akure

Voting has commenced at Sacred Heart Primary School, polling units 9 and 10, Igbogi/Isikan Ward 2 in Akure South Local Government where the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Eyitayo Jegede will cast his vote.

The exercise started at the unit at exactly 8:40am.

Accreditation is done by card reader machine while ballot papers are given to accredited voters to cast their votes.

Infrared thermometer is being used to check the temperature of each voter, while they were also given hand sanitizer.

Although Jegede has not arrived at the unit, many journalists and observers are waiting to witnessed how he will vote.
