Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr, has replaced injured Chelsea forward Victor Moses and Watford’s Isaac Success with home based players, Wikki Tourists’s Godwin Obaje and Enugu Rangers’ Chisom Egbuchulam, for the FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifier clash against Zambia in Ndola.

The English Premier League duo were expected to feature for the Eagles in this weekend’s all-important class against the Chipolopolo, however a letter from their clubs to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) revealed that Moses has hamstring while Success had a knock and will not be available for the clash.

The decision prompted Rohr to invite the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) players to replace the injured foreign-based stars.

Obaje finished top scorer with 18 goals at the just concluded NPFL season, which took his side to a third place finish and a spot in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup competition.

Egbuchulam was also on fine form for the Flying Antelopes as his 15 goals won Rangers the NPFL title to end a 32-year wait, prominent among them was a hat-trick against El-Kanemi Warriors on the final day of the season.
