Watch Ballon d’Or Live From Africa Without DSTV

The 2021 Ballon d’Or award ceremony is back after Covid-19 denied the football world a 2020 edition.

The 2021 edition will hold at Chatelet Theatre with some players already emerging as clear favourites.

Thirty players have been shortlisted for the award and Lionel Messi has the chance to win a record seventh title.

Robert Lewandowski and Karim Benzema are also major contenders for the prize.

The ceremony is expected to start at approximately 7:30pm GMT.

In addition to the Men’s Ballon d’Or award, the Women’s winner, Kopa Trophy (presented to the best performing player under the age of 21) and the Yashin Trophy (recognising the best goalkeeper) will also be revealed.
