The Nigeria Senate has revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari would submit his long-awaited ministerial list this week.
Senate president Ahmed Lawan, on Wednesday, made the revelation during plenary.
Lawan explained that the executive was working hard to ensure that the list was ready early enough before the senators proceed on their annual two-month recess which would commence July 26.
He said this following a point of order raised by Senator Bassey Akpan that the delay in the submission of the list could affect the holidays of the senators.
Lawan, in response said Buhari would send the list to the Senate before the week runs out, adding that the nominees would be screened by the upper chamber before the annual vacation.
