Recall that a statement by the Special Adviser to Ekweremadu, Mr. Uche Anichukwu revealed that the police raided the guest house of the Deputy Senate President in Maitama, Abuja.

The Police, on Tuesday, arraigned 50-year-old Ahmed Echodo, for allegedly misleading the police to conduct the raid.

According to the one-count charge, two defendants were accused of conspiring to falsely inform the office of the IGP that the building, occupied by Oliver Ogenyi, is being maintained and used for criminal activities including storage of arms and ammunition, although only Mr. Echodo was arraigned at a magistrate court in Abuja.
