Why Drake’s Picture Isn’t On My Social Media Pages – Wizkid

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun professionally known as Wizkid in a recent interview with HIP TV, said that he must not take or post a photo of everybody he comes across with on his social media pages.

He said this in response to comments on why the picture of popular International Artist, Drake, has not been posted on any of his social media pages.

However, it is expected by some of Wizkid fans that he should have the American artist Drake’s photos on his social media pages as the duo has collaborated in each other’s songs.

Songs in which Wizkid featured Drake include, “come closer”, “Ojuelegba”, “Hush Up The Silence” amongst other, while Drake featured Wizkid in his ‘One dance’ music.

Speaking on why he has no photo of Drake on his social media pages, the Nigerian artist said he does not like the idea of posting pictures of people he hangs out with on the social media.

He said; “Do you know how many people I hang out with on a daily basis that I don’t post the pictures?

“Do you know how many people that I know that I talk to and nobody even knows we’re friends.

“There’s a lot of them. I don’t really care about pictures or other stuff, I’m more of my work.

“What does a picture have to prove? That we hang out or we chill? We do that so why should I have to post it.

“I’m not that kind of person, i’m more of the music and I care about my music, so just enjoy the music. That’s all i’m here to deliver to my people, Accept it.”
