Why I Unfollowed Davido On Instagram – Cynthia Morgan
Nigerian dancehall singer, Cynthia Morgan, has finally explained why she unfollowed music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, on Instagram.
Cynthia Morgan, who now prefers to be called Madrina, accused Davido of ignoring her 7 months after publicly asking her to reach out to him to help revive her music career.

The singer spoke in an interview with HipTV, where she also revealed why their planned music collaboration never happened.
According to the singer, Davido ignored her calls and WhatsApp messages after he asked her to call him, hence the decision to unfollow him.
Recall that earlier in May, Cynthia Morgan called out her former record label boss Jude Okoye. She accused him of allegedly ruining her career by seizing her intellectual property and brand name after he stopped managing her. Okoye had denied her claims.
The singer had gained sympathy among fellow musicians and fans who demanded that Okoye should pay back what he was owing her.

During that period, Davido in a tweet, asked Cynthia Morgan to call him, saying he had recorded a verse for a music collaboration between them.
However, in the HipTV interview, the singer claimed that Davido refused to pick his calls when she reached out to him. She added that she also messaged him on WhatsApp but was ignored by the singer.
Cynthia Morgan further stated that she recorded a demo verse for a song with Davido but didn’t get a feedback three months after sending it to Davido.
