Nyesom Wike, Rivers State governor, on Sunday led a delegation on a courtesy visit to Spanish football giants, Real Madrid.
Wike and crew, toured the club’s training facilities on Monday, where they met the world’s best player, Cristiano Ronaldo and other Real Madrid teammates.
The trip according to Rivers government is part of plans to set up a Football Academy in the state.

The governor’s team comprised the Commissioner of Sports of Rivers, Boma Iyaye, former Nigerian international, Adokiye Amiesimaka, Majority Whip of Rivers State House of Assembly, Mr. Evans Bipi, and member of Rivers State Senior Secondary School Board, Chief Hanny Woko.
