Wizkid Drops New Single ‘Jah Bless Me’

Nigerian music star, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has released a new single, titled “Jah Bless Me”.

The song emerged on his Starboy YouTube page barely few hours after he posted on his Instagram page alerting his fans that he had new music on the way.

‘Jah Bless Me,’ is a mellow conscious record dedicated to people in the Ghetto as he reflects on God’s blessings upon his life. The track is produced by Ghanaian beat-maker, KillBeatz.

Wizkid rose to prominence in 2010 with the release of the song “Holla at Your Boy” from his 2011 debut “Superstar” album which features singles like, “Tease Me/Bad Guys”, “Don’t Dull”, “Love My Baby”, “Pakurumo” and “Oluwa Lo Ni”.

“Ayo” his self-titled second studio album, was released in September 2014. It was supported by six singles: “Jaiye Jaiye”, “On Top Your Matter”, “One Question”, “Joy”, “Bombay” and “Show You the Money”. Following the release of his second studio album and expiration of his 5-year recording contract, Wizkid left E.M.E.

In 2016, Wizkid achieved international recognition following his collaboration with Drake on the global hit, “One Dance”.
