Wizkid’s ‘Daddy Yo’ Makes Sound Track For Hollywood Movie

Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, otherwise known as Wizkid, has hit another milestone in his blistering career.

The Starboy’s hit song ‘Daddy Yo’ will be included in the soundtrack for Hollywood forthcoming movie, Pacific Rim Uprising.

British-Nigerian actor John Boyega shared this information on his Instagram page, posting a video of himself dancing to the song.

The Star Wars actor said he made an inclusion of the track as he was also involved not just in acting but in the creative production of the movie.

“One of the most exciting things about producing Pacific Rim Uprising was the opportunity to influence the creative choices. So I put @wizkidayo song “Daddy yo” in the movie. Jaegers need afrobeats too!,” said Boyega

“Daddy Yo”, was released in 2017 featuring Ghanaian songstress Efya. The new single was produced by Dre Skull and it was reported as the first single under RCA Records.
