Woman Destroys Maid’s Reproductive Organ Over Alleged ‘Stubbornness’

A 12-year-old maid, identified as Faith Nwanja in Ebonyi state, has been severely tortured, causing her reproductive system to be damaged.

According to the Ebonyi State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Nwanja was battered by her boss, Mrs Nkechi Bartholomew, as she allegedly inserted sticks severally inside the girl’s private parts for being too stubborn, leading to the mutilation of her organs.

To make matters worse, childless Bartholomew who adopted Nwanja and took her to Onitsha, Anambra State, when she was eight years, abandoned the young girl after she disfigured her.

The Head of Department, Child Development of the state, Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Godwin Igwe, speaking with newsmen, added that Nwanja also lost one of her hands following severe torture by her boss.

“The child has been undergoing a medical examination by a team of expert gynaecologists, a team of orthopaedic doctors, a team of expert ophthalmologist because of serious harm inflicted on her reproductive system, her hand, her ear, her teeth and all over.

‘’Last week, her medical examination was concluded and the hospital management said the report will be released to the police as soon as it is demanded”, he said
