Yahaya Bello Will Not Be Elected, Dino Melaye Says Will Never Quit Race
Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial district, Dino Melaye has insisted that the governor of the state, Yahaya Bello will not be elected for a second term.
Melaye said this in reaction to reports that he has stepped down his aspirations to emerge as the next governor of the state.

“There’s a rumour by evil doers that Dino Maleye stepped down. I did not step down. I cannot step down,” he wrote on twitter.
“I’m winning this primaries. We are cruising to victory. Yahaya Bello must go.”
Recall that the senator recently debunked reports that he planned on becoming the running mate to Idris Wada, a former governor of the state, who is also seeking to clinch the PDP ticket ahead of the election.
The election is billed to hold on November 16, while the PDP primary has been scheduled to hold tomorrow, 3rdSeptember.

Bello had clinched the APC ticket by polling 3,091 votes to beat nine other aspirants who contested the governorship primaries.
