The hoodlums, said to be members of robbery/cult gangs known as Awawa Boys and One Million Boys, reportedly invaded suburbs of the two states since last weekend, subjecting residents of the areas to harassment and intimidation after which they carted away huge sums of money and valuables.

The areas affected include Meiran, iju-Ishaga, Alagbado, Abule-Egba, Sango, Ifo and later, Agege-Pen Cinema, Dopemu, Iyana-Ipaja area, and Gowon Estate.

However, the singer on Thursday expressed shock that the government was yet to save people even when one of the criminal gangs had sent posters and letters to neighborhoods to announce their coming, before they attacked.

In obvious frustration, the crooner said she wished God could come down from heaven and physically deal with “wicked people.”
