Your Ramadan Package Is The Best We’ve Received – Kebbi Groups Tell Malami

Following his support to to thousands of households in Kebbi State,  the state’s chapters of the Community Youth Development and Council of Ulamas have commended the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami for his humanitarian  gesture.

Recall that Malami had, through his Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), Khadimiyya and Kadi Malami Foundation, distributed 2,600 bags of rice, 1,000 bags of Sugar, 300 cartons of Spaghetti, 1,000 bags of Millet, and 1000 jeerycane of vegetables oil to five thousand households in the state as Ramadan  palliative amid the current economic hardship as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19.) lockdown.

According to a letter of appreciation, jointly signed by the State Coordinator of Community Youth Development; Abubakar Muhammad Birnin-Kebbi and the State Council of  Ulama,  Malam Umar Isah Magaji,  addressed to Malami, the groups said his gesture was the best the people of the state had received so far.

“The Honourable Attorney General may wish to note that, this  act of benovelence and humanitarian gesture has been  rated the best so far in the state, which has further demonstrated your commitment to improving the well being of your people and the actualization of more prosperous Kebbi State,” the letter reads.

The groups further noted that the gesture  had also “changed the narratives of the living condition of the hitherto stressed households by putting smile on their faces especially in this month of Ramadan.”

The organisations prayed Allah to reward the minister abundantly.
