Zamfara: Female Victims Regain Freedom After 3 Weeks In Kidnappers’ Den
No fewer than four abducted females have been rescued in the Bilbis area of Tsafe Local Government Area (LGA) in Zamfara State.
The state’s police spokesperson, SP Mohammed Shehu, disclosed this in a statement made available to THE WHISTLER on Sunday.

Shehu said the victims were abducted three weeks ago by “suspected bandits”.
They were rescued by operatives of Operation Restore Peace deployed to the state.
The statement read in part: “In Compliance to the directives, On 25th June 2021, the operatives worked on credible intelligence that led to the successful rescue of the kidnapped victims.
“All the victims were medically treated at the hospital, and later debriefed by the police before being reunited with their families.

“Effort is being made to arrest the perpetrators of the crime to face the full wrath of the law”.
