Loveworld Nation, also known as Christ Embassy, has officially launched its own commercial financial institution, called Parallex Bank, with a view to redefining customer experience through digital innovation.
Checks on the bank’s website by our correspondent revealed that Parallex was formerly a microfinance bank until the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, granted it license to go into full banking services.
The transition into a commercial bank was launched on Friday at its headquaters in Victoria Island, Lagos.

“Parallex Bank Limited was incorporated as a limited liability company on the 22nd day of May 2020, having successfully converted from Parallex Microfinance Bank (a National Microfinance Bank incorporated in 2008 as a Unit MFB) to a commercial bank duly licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria to carry out commercial banking services,” the bank stated on its website.
Part of the special features of the bank includes “5 Free Interbank Transfer Daily” and “No Maintenance Fees on all accounts.”
According to the bank, “it will be leveraging the best talents and technology to deliver unparalleled value to our stakeholders.”
The CEO of Loveworld Nation, Dr. Pastor Adeolu Phillips, is the bank’s chairman.

This is a very good one. The so called commercial Banks in Nigeria have to steal from Nigerians through different charges which when you demand for explanation, they just give you flimsy reasons. Please abeg do you guys have a branch in Abuja so that most people that fed up with this yahoo commercial Banks will move their accounts immediately. Hope you guys won’t start charging this charges later.

Let me put the public on notice that this parallex bank is a pure scam. I have a personal experience here. I opened an account with same bank in 2015. After a series of deposits made by me through my account officer I decided to someday pay a visit to the bank and have a feel. I called my account officer who told me she had quit the job. I checked on line for their address and found one located somewhere at central business district, Abuja. I took a trip to the place only to realized the bank branch wasn’t there anymore. Till this day, all I get from the bank is periodic SMS. I have tried to contact all the lines I could fine, it’s been abortive. If the management and organizers of this scam think this is a libel, they are at liberty to sue me.
