COZA: Aisha Buhari ‘Warns’ Police IG Over Invitation To Timi, Busola Dakolo

First Lady Aisha Buhari has warned against intimidation of singer Timi Dakolo and his wife, Busola, by the Nigeria Police.

Aisha’s warning came after the police stormed the residence of the Dakolos to serve them invitation to appear at the Police Force Headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday to answer some questions on alleged “criminal conspiracy, falsehood, mischief and threat to life” leveled against them in a case they’re investigating.

It is believed that the police invitation is in connection with Busola’s recent rape allegation against the senior pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo.

Busola’s husband, Timi had taken to Instagram to allege intimidation of his family after some armed policemen stormed his residence to serve him and his wife the invitation letters.

“Our lawyers had told us to get ready for this letter. We have long been ready for this type of institutionalized intimidation and dirtiness,” he said in an Instagram post.

The letters addressed to the couple were issued from the office of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Special Tactical Squad, and signed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in the unit, DCP Kolo Yusuf.

Reacting to media reports on the police invitation, the First Lady took to Instagram to warn against intimidation of the couple.

She shared a screenshot from a report with the caption: “Attention: Inspector General of Police #SayNoToRape, JusticeForRapeVictims, #SayNoToIntimidation”

THE WHISTLER had earlier reported how Mrs Buhari took to Twitter in early July to call on the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, to order investigation of the rape allegation against pastor Fatoyinbo.

My basic concern here is on the level of the passion, zeal and extreme muscle at which the first lady of the federal republic of Nigeria Aisha Buhari is pusuing the COZA case.

It is no secret that the entire frame of Nigeria is being threatened by the Fulani herdsmen – the tribesmen of the first lady of the federal republic of Nigeria and she hadn’t publicly condemned the senseless killings, maimings of men, women and even little children as well as destruction properties worth millions of Naira let alone call to the police for any arrest or prosecution of the perpetuators of this wicked, evil and satanic acts – yet she has consistently wielded an iron scepter against a christian pastor. Note that the Fulani herdsmen have raped many women and even children in some local communities yet the first lady has not even condemned their actions nor called for their arrest and prosecution. I therefore ask Nigerians in general and Christians in particular to look at this case with eagle eyes. I simply hope that this is not a way of attacking christiandom while turning a blind eye to the activities of the tribesmen of the first lady.

As much as we all must work hardeously to condemn rape in it’s entirety,we must condemn even more any attempt to any form of molestation against Christianity.

In my own opinion, the first lady should face national issues that are threatening the existence of this nation and leave the police as well the court of law to do their jobs without any interference.

The primary assignment for pastors is to reconcile people with God. They hid and not ready to confess their sins because they call themselves men of God. In beer parlour men feel free to discuss how they got ladies. It is a thing of pride for sinners. All these prosperity preachers, nawa for them. Bible says without holiness no one shall see the lord. People don’t like where holiness is being preached and that’s why fake pastors are flourishing. Churches have turned into social gathering. Let us go to true church of God and be converted and you shall be saved. When we are in problem, pastors are to pray for us which is part of their secondary assignments. But secondary assignments have taken over. Everyone is looking for money through all means. Many of us know that some of these churches are not leading us to heaven, yet we go there. What we meet there we have to bear it.
