Dogara Sacks Appropriations Committee Chairman

Jibrin and Dawaki are both members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and are from Kano state.

The sack follows a serious disagreements engaged by Jibrin and his colleagues over the handling of the controversial 2016 appropriation bill.

But the Speaker said that Jibrin had requested for his removal from the Committee, hence, the change.

“He (Jibrin) came to me and said he cannot do it any more and that the pressure was on him,” Dogara said.
