The Federal High Court in Lagos has granted social media influencer, Blessing CEO, bail of N10m and two sureties.
Justice D.I. Dipeolu, on Tuesday, ruled that the social media personality, whose real name is Blessing Nkiruka Okoro, should be remanded at a correctional custody pending fulfilment of her bail conditions.
Nkiruka, who was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) on charges of obtaining the sum of N36m by false pretence, had pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
During the court proceedings, her legal representative, Nneka Nkama, pleaded for her client to be kept at EFCC’s facility pending perfection of the bail.
However, the EFCC lawyer, Suleiman Suleiman, objected to the appeal, stating their facility was filled up and could not continue to accommodate her.
The judge then ordered her to be remanded at a correctional centre until her bail conditions were fulfilled.

The case was adjourned to June 22, 2026, for the continuation of the trial.
Between July 14 and July 17, 2024, Blessing CEO allegedly collected M36m from a complainant, Mrs. Ifeyinwa Nonye Okoye, on the grounds that she had the right to lease a six-bedroom detached duplex on Tunbosun Osobu Street in Lekki, Lagos.
The victim reportedly paid the money, and began renovation work on the property. However, the actual owner of the house appeared and ejected the victim from the premises.
The EFCC charged the defendant with stealing and illegally converting the money to her own personal use.
