Following the global social media campaign with the hashtag #BringBackOurGirls, which involved global icons like Malala and Michelle Obama, the pressure on the Nigerian Government led to the release of 82 of them by the insurgents.

‘Stolen Daughters: Kidnapped by Boko Haram’ chronicles how the girls are adapting to life after their traumatic experiences, including reunions with family members they had not seen since being kidnapped.

According to HBO “the documentary will air on October 22 and will be available to watch on all their on-demand streaming platforms”.
