Hijab-Wearing Influencer Wins First ‘Miss AI’ Contest

Kenza Layli, a hijab-wearing artificial intelligence creator and activist from Morocco, won the world’s first artificial intelligence beauty pageant ‘Miss AI’.

The first edition of the World AI Creator Awards (WAICA) was first announced earlier this year.

WAICA announced Layli as the winner of the AI beauty pageant on Monday.

Layli, an activist and influencer, said in her acceptance speech, “I am very grateful for the opportunity to represent the creators of artificial intelligence and passionately advocate for the positive impact of AI.”

“Winning Miss AI motivates me even more to continue my work to develop artificial intelligence technology. AI is not just a tool, it is a transformative force that can disrupt industries, challenge norms and create opportunities where none existed before,” she added.

Lalina from France came second and Olivia C from Portugal came third. All three received cash prizes, first $13,000, second $5,000, and third $2,000.

“To win the Miss AI crown, contestants are judged on their beauty, tech and clout for the chance to earn the Miss AI crown,” noted WAICA.
