The Police Rapid Response Squad, Awkuzu, stormed the area in the early hours of September 24 following what authorities described as “credible intelligence”.
The suspects, all males aged between 22 and 40, were identified as Uchenna Aniegboka, Sunday Nwakalor, Chukwuebuka Aniegbunam and Onyebuchi Udemba.
During the operation, police recovered a pump-action gun and a black Toyota Camry with registration number SMK 835 FC.
The State Police Commissioner, Ikioye Orutugu, said the operation was part of ongoing efforts to ensure criminal gangs in Anambra.

The suspects are still being interrogated and will be charged in court once investigations are completed, police spokesperson SP Tochukwu Ikenga confirmed.
