Sanwo-Olu Calls Akpabio ‘Transformational Leader’ As He Turns 63

Lagos State Governor and Chairman of the South-West Governors’ Forum, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has celebrated the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, on his 63rd birthday, describing him as an amazing personality and a transformational leader whose impact on governance continues to resonate across the country.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Olu praised the Senate President for his exemplary record of service, strength and dedication to nation-building.

He said Akpabio’s leadership reflects vision, courage and unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s growth and development.

Sanwo-Olu commended Akpabio’s decades-long contribution to public service, noting that the former Akwa Ibom governor had delivered uncommon transformation in his home state and continued to make meaningful contributions at the national level as a federal lawmaker and now as head of the National Assembly.

The governor acknowledged Akpabio’s role in sustaining a productive relationship between the executive and legislative arms of government, which he said has contributed to the progress of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
