Serena Willams, Alexis Ohanian Tie The Knot In New Orleans

Tennis star Serena Williams on Thursday got married to Alexis Ohanian, Reddit co-founder, at the Contemporary Arts Centre in New Orleans, USA.

The wedding, which had an entire block of the city sealed off, was graced by close family and friends.

A-list Celebrities in attendance includes, Serena’s sister Venus, close friends Eva Longoria, Ciara, Tina Knowles, Kelly Rowland, Selita Ebanks, Anna Wintour, Colton Haynes, Russell Wilson, La La Anthony, and Kim Kardashian.

According to Daily Mail, the event had a Beauty and the Beast theme and included 200 people on the guest list.

According to media reports, the wedding cost more than $1million and guests were asked not to bring their mobile phones because of an exclusive deal with Vogue.

The 36-year-old had last week held a bachelorette party in New York.

Williams and Ohanian announced their engagement in December last year after dating for 15 months. The couple welcomed their daughter, Alexis, two months ago.
