Afrobeat singer, Simi, has released a new single “Ayo”, which is said to be a good start for 2019 after her wedding to Adekunle Gold.

She expressed her joy and thankfulness to God through the new song which is sang in her Yoruba dialect.

Ayo means ’Joy,’ and its the singer‘s first solo single for the new year after her joint single ‘Promise’ with her husband and singer Adekunle Gold.

The afro-alternative song contained lyrics of her speaking of the joy and God’s blessing over her and her entire household.
