Fernando Martin, a coach with Valencia CF, has died with his three children after their boat capsized in Indonesia.
The Spaniard, who is the coach of Valencia CF Femenino B, and three of his children, were confirmed dead in the tragic boat accident in Indonesia, as confirmed by local authorities.
Indonesian and Spanish authorities said on Saturday that Martin and three of his children were missing after the boat carrying 11 people sank in extreme weather on Friday in the Padar Island Strait near the island of Labuan Bajo, a popular tourist spot.
According to reports, The search continued on Sunday morning, Fathur Rahman, mission coordinator for Indonesia’s search and rescue agency in the area.
His wife and one daughter, as well as four crew members and a tour guide, were rescued and safe.

Valencia confirmed Martin’s death in a statement on their website on Sunday.
The statement read: “Valencia CF is deeply saddened by the death of Fernando Martin, coach of Valencia CF Women’s B team, and three of his children in a tragic boating accident in Indonesia, as confirmed by local authorities.
At this difficult time for everyone, the club would like to send our support and condolences to the families, friends and colleagues at Valencia CF, Valencia CF Women’s team and VCF Academy.’
Real Madrid also paid tribute to the manager, who was their former player on Sunday.

“Likewise, we send our condolences to all of his family and loved ones, and the whole Valencia family.”
Fernando was appointed manager of Valencia Women’s B team at the start of this year.
