APC Inaugurates Ekiti Campaign Council Wednesday

The All Progressives Congress (APC) will on Wednesday inaugurate its National Campaign Council for the forthcoming Ekiti State governorship election.

The inauguration is scheduled to be held at the Kashim Shettima Hall of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja, by 12 noon.

According to a statement issued on Monday by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the campaign council is chaired by Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, while President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, will serve as co-chairman.

Senate Leader, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, is the secretary of the council.

The party said the council comprises serving and former governors, principal officers of the National Assembly, and other senior party stakeholders tasked with coordinating and driving campaign activities ahead of the governorship poll.

The APC added that several subcommittees have also been constituted to oversee critical areas of the campaign, including election planning and management, finance and resource mobilisation, grassroots mobilisation, logistics, media and publicity, security, women and youth mobilisation, protocol, and secretariat functions.
