BREAKING: Yahaya Bello Arrives Court For N110bn Alleged Money Laundering Case
The immediate past Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has arrived at the Federal Capital Territory High Court to face charges of money laundering by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Bello was brought to court by EFCC operatives a day after he was detained by the anti-graft agency in Abuja.
The former governor, who has been in hiding since April 2024, was declared wanted in connection with the alleged N110bn charges preferred against.
The EFCC had revealed on Tuesday that Bello was being interrogated shortly after his arrest in Abuja.
