Brighton recorded a stunning 2-1 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford to dump the Red Devils out of the 2025-26 FA Cup on Sunday.

However, Brajan Gruda opened the scoring for the visitors in the 12th minute.
Former Manchester United forward, Danny Welbeck added the second goal in the second half to hurt his former employers.
It was Welbeck’s eighth goal against United, and his sixth at Old Trafford.
Benjamin Sesko reduced the deficit for Manchester United in the 85th minute before 18-year-old home substitute Shea Lacey was sent off in the final minute.

The Red Devils suffered an embarrassing 4-3 penalty shootout to League two side Grimsby Town to crash out of the League Cup in the third round.
Manchester United will be back in Premier League action against Man City at Old Trafford on Saturday while Brighton welcome Bournemouth to the Amex Stadium on the same day.
