The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arraigned two siblings, Adimike Odirachukwu Anthony and Adimike Chinyere Stephany, alongside one Comfort Ajibade, before the FCT High Court 13 over the alleged murder of their father, Adimike Godwin, in Abuja’s Guzape area.
The suspects were arraigned on Monday on a four-count charge bordering on criminal conspiracy to commit culpable homicide, culpable homicide and alleged offences under the Same Sex Marriage (Prohibition) Act.
According to the police, the incident occurred on May 15, 2026, after officers at the Guzape Divisional Headquarters received a distress call from a relative of the deceased, who reported that repeated attempts to reach him had failed.
Police detectives reportedly rushed to the residence and found Godwin lying unconscious in his room with multiple stab wounds.
He was taken to Karu General Hospital, where doctors confirmed him dead.
The FCT Police Command said the Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, ordered a comprehensive investigation into the killing, leading to the arrest of five suspects, including the deceased’s driver and gateman.

The charge also includes allegations under the Same Sex Marriage (Prohibition) Act.
According to the police, Anthony was separately charged with allegedly entering into a same-sex civil union, while Stephany and Ajibade were jointly charged with allegedly entering into a same-sex civil union.
The FCT High Court adjourned the case until September 30, 2026, for further proceedings.
