My Biggest Achievement Is Making My Parents Proud – Lil Kesh

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Ololade Keshinro, popularly known as Lil Kesh says his greatest achievement so far in his music career is making his parents proud.

Lil Kesh made the statement during a chat with Taylor Live Magazine, saying that he didn’t know that he would become a professional singer.

When asked to state his greatest achievement in music, he responded: “The fact that I made my parents proud, regardless of how difficult it was to make it out of the ghetto is my greatest achievement.”

Speaking on his journey in the music industry, he said: “Did I know I’ll become a professional singer? No. But I started music at a very young age as a chorister in church, playing the drums and talking drums.

“My surrounding played a major role in my sense of creativity which is why I often talk about my everyday struggle and hardship I faced before my life turned around.”

According to Lil Kesh, being an artist means being a servant.

“We were created to serve one way or the other and I choose to serve through music,” he said.
