Taking to his official Instagram page, the actor made several posts both on his Instagram story explaining that his new movie has not been banned.

He  asserts that ‘Oko Iyabo’ is about him and Iyabo Ojo , adding that  he has the right to tell a story.

Fayibi said, “lyabo Ojo has done many videos mentioning my full names and the videos were published on YouTube, IGTV etc simply because I stand for Human Rights, so also Princess mentioned my real names.

“They called me pedophile and rape apologist for standing by what is right. So sentiment on use of real names. It is allowed in movie making.

“The movie never undermines the victim or any girl child, someone twisted that so they can make you react. Most comment did not see the full movie before judgement.”

He added, “I hand you all to your consciences and God. No amount of all these can pull me down. And nobody  banned my  movie.”

In a seperate post, Fabiyi insisted that  ‘Oko Iyabo’ still remains in the market and warned against spreading misinformation.

The film ‘Oko Iyabo’ portrays Princess’s underage foster daughter as Baba Ijesha’s lover. It also depicts Baba Ijesha as a victim of a setup orchestrated by Princess.

The characters in the film take on the names of the individuals involved in the case including actress, Iyabo Ojo whom the story apparently centers around.
