OpenAI Adds Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, Other Tools To ChatGPT
OpenAI announced Wednesday that ChatGPT users can now access popular Adobe creativity tools, including Photoshop, Adobe Express, and Acrobat, directly inside the chatbot.
With the integrations, users can edit images, design graphics and work on PDF documents without leaving the ChatGPT interface. The tools are free to use within the chatbot and are designed to offer simplified versions of Adobe’s professional software.
The in-chat version of Photoshop allows users to adjust brightness, contrast, vibrance, add stylistic effects, blur backgrounds, or remove objects.
However, premium features like Generative Fill, Adobe’s high-end AI editing tool, are not included. Adobe Express lets users create posters, event invitations, social media graphics, and animated designs, while Acrobat allows tasks like extracting text and converting documents to PDF.
The integration is part of OpenAI’s plan, launched in October, to bring third-party apps into ChatGPT and make the chatbot a central starting point for everyday digital tasks.
Companies like Spotify, Zillow and Figma were among the early partners.

Adobe said the in-chat tools are meant to help beginners quickly create, edit, and explore. Users who need advanced features can seamlessly transition to the full desktop or mobile apps.
The Adobe tools are currently available on ChatGPT for web and iOS, with Android support rolling out gradually. At launch, Adobe Express is available on Android, while Photoshop and Acrobat will be added soon. Adobe and OpenAI are also collaborating to bring the new features to users in the UK and Europe. The announcement comes as Adobe prepares to release its fourth-quarter earnings report.
