Super Falcons star Assisat Oshoala has won the Saudi Women’s Premier League (SWPL) September Player of the Month Award.
The SWPL announced Oshoala as the winner of the award on their X account on Wednesday.

Oshoala has been impressive for Al-Hilal since joining the club in the summer.
She scored three goals and provided two assists in three matches in the month under review to win the award.
Oshoala scored from the penalty spot on her debut against Al Qadsiah before recording a goal and an assist in consecutive matches against Al Ahli and Neom SC.
Oshoala’s teammate, Layla Ali, claimed the Goalkeeper of the Month award, while gaffer Jose Herrera was named Coach of the Month.

The 30-year-old ended her one-year stint with BAY FC in the United States to continue her storied career in Saudi Arabia.
Al-Hilal are second on the log with nine points from three matches, same with the leaders Al Nassr.
Oshoala will be hoping to start October with a bang when Al-Hilal take on Al-Ittihad on Thursday.
